Sales and installation of industrial tires at both customer and shop locations. Act as a liaison between the customers and the organization through open communication and confirmation with appropriate parties regarding tire installation and excellent front-line customer service through the timely replacement of tires. This person must be customer service oriented and have a positive and friendly attitude. This individual will also assist in the Parts Department.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
Create and maintain a professional environment that supports Wiese Vision, Values and Culture.
Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle tire problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future replacement requirements.
Plan work procedures, utilizing the most cost effective planning and execution of tire replacement and travel itinerary.
Develop and quote replacement tires including labor and materials for industrial tires.
Maintain inventory of tires and associated materials by conducting physical counts, tracking usage, and restocking inventory by requisitioning parts or submitting order requests to the appropriate personnel.
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Shipping of inventory. Including picking, packing, determine best shipping methods, etc.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Operates forklift and pallet jack.
Requirements
Must have valid drivers license
Ability to routinely lift heavy objects over 75 pounds and crouching or crawling in restricted areas.
Prior mechanical experience in a work setting.
Must be able to operate a computer and write legibly
The individual should possess good communication skills
This individual must meet quality and productivity standards, and be able to effectively plan and organize workload.
